How late can we have the venue?
We host all kinds of events at Zilker Lodge, some of which are overnight stays in our bunkrooms. All event start and end times are negotiable. Most evening events are scheduled to end at midnight to begin teardown.
Are you a full-service facility?
Zilker Lodge is a non-full-service facility. This means the client is responsible for set up, teardown, removal of trash, and cleaning the utilized spaced so the facility is back in its original condition after their event.
Do you supply chairs, tables, and other furniture?
Yes we offer approximately twenty (20) folding 6' tables and (120) accompanying stacking chairs with your rental agreement for your use during your event.
Can we have a band?
Yes! We have several areas outside and inside that are perfect for hosting a band for your event.
Are there noise restrictions?
Loud music or "noise" outdoors is should end at 11:00 pm according to park ordinance.
Can we serve alcohol?
Yes! You may serve alcohol free of charge to guests with no restrictions. You are allowed to sell alcoholic beverages with some additional restrictions like location, fencing, permits, etc.
Can we use the kitchen?
Yes! The commercial kitchen is available for your use. As the use can vary greatly depending on your needs, we are happy to discuss the rental price for the kitchen based on your specific event.
Do you have a covered area outside?
Yes! The Pavilion is a large covered area that has picnic tables, fans, and a roof to keep out most of the weather during your outside event.
Does Zilker Lodge offer options if it rains during an outdoor event?
Yes! It is very rare that multiple events are booked concurrently at Zilker Lodge. We make sure that all clients are number one and that their space is reserved just for them. That being said, we almost always have the indoors area available even when another event is happening outside as they may interfere with one another. This allows a rain contingency, just in case.
